Our pipeline construction and maintenance services includes but not limited to the following:

Offshore and onshore pipe laying are two different methods of laying pipelines.
Offshore pipe laying involves laying pipelines on the seabed, while onshore pipe laying involves laying pipelines on land. Offshore pipelines are typically used to transport oil and gas from offshore oil rigs and gas platforms to onshore processing facilities.

There are different methods of laying offshore pipelines, including the reel-lay method and the S-lay method. In the reel-lay method, the pipeline is not welded aboard the vessel but on land, and then wound onto a reel on the vessel.

This method has the advantage that the pipes are joined onshore and thus independently of marine environmental influences, and pipeline production and pipe-laying can be carried out separately 2. In the S-lay method, the pipeline is laid in a continuous S-shape, with the pipe being welded together as it is laid.
